Food for Thought
and sometimes all you have is a bench to hold you up
sometimes things get blurry and it is hard to see things as they are
nothing like the love of a dog. sure makes everything okay.
Larry kept repeating "stillness is your power" while teaching class, especially between the postures...."stillness is your power...calm, focused, centered, yeah?"
I am focused on my stillness and my yoga asana practice certainly helps me. Everything I need is in my breath so today I will surrender to my breath, one breath at a time.
Petaluma Veterinary Hospital is absolutely the best sign. Always something that makes me smile.
Let go of what does not serve you.
I have heard this often over the years and right now I am letting go of an old fear that I have held on to for too long. I am walking through something that I have always avoided and it does not feel good, but I know I have to walk through this fear in order to let it go.
Keeping this spirit free sometimes requires work, however, my spirit is worth it.
Life has been a little crazy the past month and I am still feeling a little upside down; however, I am grateful for life and all of its ups and downs. So here's to new beginnings....
